Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer cannot void your entire warranty over an aftermarket accessory. We still recommend unplugging before any dealer service visit.

Fuel economy. Cylinder deactivation exists to save only 1-2mpg, so running full-cylinder can cost a small amount of highway MPG depending on how you drive. Most owners consider that a fair trade against a lifter job that runs into the thousands.

Battery draw. Soothezy™ is built to sip power, not pull it. Park a few days without starting the truck and it fires up normally — no dead battery, no jump box, no surprises. If the vehicle is going to sit longer than a week, pull the module out. That takes two seconds, and it’s the same advice that applies to any OBD-II accessory.

Codes and inspection. The module works within your vehicle’s normal diagnostic communication and isn’t designed to trigger any engine lights. Emissions and inspection rules vary by state, so check your local requirements.
